RESUMEN
La Homeopatía es un sistema médico terapéutico, una ciencia y arte de curar. Su práctica consiste en buscar los puntos de contacto existentes entre los síntomas que experimentalmente produce un remedio y los síntomas que presenta el enfermo. Se hace cada vez más necesario aplicar nuevos tratamientos en el Asma Bronquial, preferentemente utilizando medios naturales, no invasivos y sin riesgo de toxicidad. Contribuir al mejor conocimiento del tratamiento con medicamentos homeopáticos en pacientes con dicha patología es el objetivo de este trabajo. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo y prospectivo de 100 pacientes con diagnóstico de Asma Bronquial atendido en la consulta de alergia del Hospital Pediátrico Universitario de Holguín con edades entre 6 y 17 años y dividido en dos grupos, uno con tratamiento homeopático y otro con tratamiento alopático. En ambos grupos predominó el sexo masculino, las edades de 6 a 9 años y la severidad leve persistente. El Sulphur fue el medicamento más utilizado y no aparecieron reacciones adversas al tratamiento homeopático; no existiendo diferencias significativas en los resultados entre el tratamiento homeopático y el alopático ni en relación con la severidad de la enfermedad. Se recomienda utilizar remedios homeopáticos en pacientes con Asma Bronquial.

ABSTRACT
Homeopathy is a therapeutic medical system, a science and art of healing. Its practice is to find existing contact points between the symptoms that experimentally produced a remedy and symptoms the patient. It is increasingly necessary to implement new treatments in the bronchial asthma, preferably using natural means, non-invasive and without risk of toxicity. Contribute to better knowledge of the treatment with homeopathic medicines in patients with this disease is the goal of this work. A descriptive and prospective study of 100 patients with diagnosis of bronchial asthma served in the consultation of the University Pediatric Hospital of Holguín allergy aged between 6 and 17 years and divided into two groups, one with homeopathic treatment and another with allopathic treatment was carried out. In both groups the prevailing male, ages 6 to 9 years and the persistent mild severity. The Sulphur was the most widely used drug and did not appear to homeopathic treatment adverse reactions; There is no significant difference in the results between the allopathic and homeopathic treatment or in relation to the severity of the disease. Homeopathic remedies are recommended in patients with bronchial asthma.
