 RESUMEN

 

Se realizó una investigación descriptiva para evaluar  el carácter humanista de la Educación y la Ciencia con respecto a los problemas actuales, en el proceso universitario de la Universidad Médica Actual teniendo en cuenta la experiencia cubana en este frente.  Observándose que indiscutiblemente la extensión de la Universidad en su estrecha relación con las necesidades de las Sociedad de donde surge, constituye una vertiente básica para el desarrollo del Trabajo Educativo: Este se interdigita  con las dimensiones  de diseño curricular  y trabajo socio-político ; Eleva consecuentemente  la adquisición, reforzamiento de valores en estudiantes y profesores ; Necesita de un alto compromiso y creatividad por parte de todos, incluyendo a la comunidad  extrauniversitaria ;  Dispone de espacios integradores fundamentales: Atención Primaria de Salud ; Permite conjugar formas de actuación para garantizar que nuestros Centros de Educación Superior sean verdaderos  centros de debate,  perfeccionarse como universidades abiertas e  interactuantes con  la sociedad.

ABSTRACT

 

We was carried out a descriptive investigation to evaluate the humanist character of the Education and the Science with regard to the current problems, in the university process of the Current Medical University keeping in mind the Cuban experience in this front.  Being observed that unquestionably the extension of the University in their narrow relationship with the necessities of the Society of where it arises, it constitutes a basic slope for the development of the Educational Work:  this you interdigita with the dimensions of curricular design and socio-political work ; it elevates the acquisition consequently, reinforcement of values in students and professors , we needs of a high commitment and creativity on the part of all, including to the community extrauniversitaria ; it has fundamental integrative spaces: Primary attention of Health ;it allows to conjugate performance forms to guarantee that our Centers of Superior Education are true debate centers, to be perfected as open universities and interactuantes with the society.
