RESUMEN
Se realizó una investigación de carácter descriptivo con enfoque mixto: cualitativo y cuantitativo con el objetivo de caracterizar la práctica docente en las asignaturas Morfofisiología humana I y II del municipio Maracaibo en el Estado Zulia en Venezuela a partir de la percepción de sus actores, durante el curso 2005- 2006. El universo estuvo conformado por 644 estudiantes Venezolanos que se encontraban cursando el primer año de la carrera de Medicina integral comunitaria en dicho municipio , los 3 profesores asesores del programa en el municipio y los 20 coordinadores docentes de parroquias como Expertos así como 318 profesores del claustro de estas asignaturas , de los que fueron escogidos al azar 106 y que representa el 30% .Con relación a los directivos y los profesores asesores se trabajo con el universo. En el caso de los estudiantes fueron seleccionados como muestra 66 de ellos de forma aleatoria, representando el 10 % del alumnado. Entre los principales resultados resaltan la insuficiente preparación de los profesores para la práctica docente así como el alto grado satisfacción de todos los actores del proceso, la posibilidad del contacto con la población y la utilidad de esa actividad para la consolidación de los conocimientos y la familiarización con los problemas reales de salud de la población.

ABSTRACT
He was carried out an investigation of descriptive character with mixed focus: qualitative and quantitative with the objective of characterizing the educational practice in the subjects Human Morfofisiology I and II of the municipality Maracaibo in the Estado Zulia in Venezuela starting from the perception of their actors, during the course 2005 - 2006. The universe was conformed by 644 Venezuelan students that were studying the first year of the career of community integral Medicine in this municipality, the 3 advisory professors of the program in the municipality and the 20 educational coordinators of parishes like Experts as well as 318 professors of the cloister of these subjects, of those that were chosen 106 at random and that it represents 30% .Con relationship to the directive and the advisory professors you work with the universe. In the case of the students they were selected as sample 66 of them in an aleatory way, representing 10% of the pupil. Among the main results they stand out the insufficient preparation of the professors for the educational practice as well as the high degree satisfaction of all the actors of the process, the possibility of the contact with the population and the utility of that activity for the consolidation of the knowledge and the familiarisation with the real problems of the population's health.
